Hello there! My name is Miranda!

well…sort of

I want to be honest so I should start by explaining that I am writing this blog under a pseudonym. One of my main reasons for starting this blog is so I can finally talk about my OCD: what it is like to have it and some of the experiences I have in my life related to OCD. If I was fully comfortable talking I would openly do just that: talk! But I am a very shy person and am still too shy to tell many people I have OCD. Soo…a pseudonym seemed like a good solution.

Nonetheless, I didn’t want to come off as incredibly distant in this blog. By giving myself another name, readers can still assign a name and identity to what they are reading. I may eventually switch to using my real name but for now I am Miranda 🙂

With that explained, here is some real information about who I am!

I am 19-years-old and I am an American college student. I love my school, even though I don’t really know what I want to study yet. Most likely, I will pursue something science related, but who knows? Not me, that is! What I do know is that I am incredibly nerdy, which I have no shame in showing. In my free time I enjoy dancing, petting my adorable dogs, and well…writing!
