Receive a Not Alone Note (OCD Week 2017)

Not Alone Notes now has it’s own website!

This is the original post about Not Alone Notes. For updated information, please visit our website linked above.

not aloneDo you sometimes feel lonely about having OCD? Were you recently diagnosed with OCD? Do you not know anyone else with the disorder? Do you like receiving mail?

If you answered “yes” to any of the questions, request a Not Alone Note!

We will mail you a handwritten note for free as a reminder that you are not alone in this fight.

The idea from this project stemmed from becoming pen pals with several people I met at OCDcon. There is something special about receiving a handwritten letter, so I want to pass that on to others.

Your address will be used once to address the envelope and will not be shared with anyone besides those mailing the letters.

If you would like to receive a Not Alone Note, fill out this form.

Over 100 notes sent and counting!

P.S. The long-term goal for this project, if I could get funding somehow, is to have notes become packages. I would love to include items like self-help books and fiddlers.
